Special Education Bus Aide Health Aide at Warren Consolidated Schools

The job of Special Education Bus Aide was established for the purpose/s of assisting/maintaining good behavior of students while they are being transported to and from school; and providing assistance with students health care.BARGAINING UNIT MEMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED BEFORE THE GENERAL PUBLICWork Year:192 Days5.50 Hours:- 5:50am-8:50am; 1:50pm-4:15pmThis position has a health aide component. While working in a Special Education Health Aide capacity this position provides for a $0.50/hr. health aide stipend. Should the Health Aide component no longer be necessary the stipend is removed.Qualifications:Must be able to meet the physical demands of the working environment. High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting carrying pushing and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping kneeling crouching and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 65% sitting 30% walking and 5% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
