School Year 2025-2026DescriptionProvides for a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.Promote the educational growth of students commensurate with student ability as described in individualized educational plans (IEP).Ability to relate to culturally diverse students desired.QualificationsValid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification and/or valid New Jersey Teacher of the HandicappedExperience with students in ERI program.Willingness to work with students with diverse needs.Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsPossess the physical and mental capacity to perform major job responsibilities including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds.Physical RequirementsThe employee must demonstrate physical strength agility and energy to perform essential job functions and to ensure health welfare and safety of all students and of self.
