Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs an Experienced Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel- and CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks. At Kimble we strive for perfection in everything that we do.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repairProven experience working on both Diesel and CNG enginesCDL (Class A or B) preferredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electronic diagnostic softwareKnowledge of DOT regulationsHigh school diploma or GED; technical school or vocational training is a plusAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varying conditionsMechanic Responsibilities and Duties:Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems on diesel and CNG commercial trucksPerform DOT inspections and ensure all vehicles comply with federal and state safety regulationsUtilize diagnostic tools and OEM software for troubleshootingConduct preventative maintenance and detailed inspectionsOversee junior technicians and provide technical mentorship and trainingMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with fleet managers and operations for scheduling and prioritization of repairsStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and OEM bulletinsBenefits:401(k) retirement plan with matchComprehensive medical benefits coverage, dental plans and vision coverage.Employee assistance program (EAP)Health care and dependent care spending accounts (FSA)Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance.Paid time offReferral programEmployee Discount Program
