Job Title:Specialist Configuration ManagementJob Code: 30941Job Location: Canoga Park CAJob Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday offJob Description:Under general direction performs assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.Essential Functions:Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design Product Definition and Operations data includingverifications and management ofClass I and Class II engineering changesfor and accuracy including: configuration identification bill-of-materials relationships and affected documents.Perform Data Management Activities by supporting programs with contract data deliverables to external customers as well as supporting management of data with suppliers.Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices principles policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processesProficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint)Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO10007 and EIA649 required.Knowledge of PTC WindchillCMII or CMPIC certificationKnowledge of design development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systemsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in the state of California is $75000 - $139000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
