Specialist, Financial Analysis
As a Specialist, Financial Analysis on the Workplace Solutions Incentive Compensation team, you will produce monthly and annual projections for incentive compensation expenses. You will perform routine assignments/projects while simultaneously leveraging and applying knowledge. You will prepare, analyze, and report on financial information and provide management with a financial perspective.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare monthly and annual projections of incentive compensation expenses based on sales forecasts, market trends, historical data, and business strategies.
- Maintain complex financial models to support decision-making processes, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
- Prepares, analyzes and reports on more complex financial information.
- Provides management with a more complex financial perspective.
- Evaluates financial information to develop and deliver more complex standard, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Provides support to the financial analysis team in the preparation and delivery the analysis of financial information including more complex financial analysis.
- Identifies financial analysis issues/concerns and recommends mitigation solution(s) to management.
What we're looking for:
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics or other quantitative major.
- 1-3+ Years experience in financial analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Advanced Excel user with experience in building charts/visualizations and utilizing data analysis functionality.
- Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Critical Thinking: The ability to think critically and analytically, to evaluate complex financial data, and draw sound conclusions and recommendations.
- Problem solving skills: The ability to identify challenges, develop creative solutions, and implement effective strategies to address them.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting, which is crucial for producing reliable insights and recommendations.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. Senior management, direct management, and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
