Job Title: Specialist HR Business Partner Job Code: 31505Job Location: Rochester NY (Onsite)Job Schedule: 9/80 - Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday offJob Description:L3Harris is seeking a Specialist HR Business Partner to support Operations teams within the Tactical Communications (TCOM) sector. The successful candidate will partner closely with management and employees primarily non-exempt production employees to identify and execute HR initiatives and strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives. This role will report to the Director HR Business Partner for Operations and Supply Chain and will be based on site in Rochester NY.Essential Functions:Serve as HR Business Partner for assigned Operations client groups and provide strategic support and guidance in the areas of compensation employee relations learning & development performance management staffing and engagement at all levelsCollaborate with HR Centers of Excellence matrixed HR counterparts enterprise-wide service organizations and support functions such as Legal Ethics Finance Security and EH&SEnforce human resources policies and NY State labor laws providing counsel and assistance to employees and managementConstruct and communicate narratives through data analytics to equip leaders with objective information to make sound business decisionsPartner with leadership to develop and implement talent management strategies that enhance organizational structure and performance in alignment with business objectivesModel L3Harris business operating system principles and processes with a focus on increasing administrative excellence and process improvementBuild and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees through strategic visibility on the production floor 1:1s staff meetings daily stand-ups etc.Promote and model high professional standards positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrate L3Harris core valuesSupport site or sector-specific projects as neededThis role supports a 24/7 Operations facility and will be required to support the off-shift as business needs ariseAbility to Obtain a US Security ClearanceQualifications:Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience supporting Operations or heavy non-exempt populationsExperience with Performance Management Employee Relations Staffing Compensation Diversity and Organizational/Management DevelopmentStrong communication interpersonal influencing coaching conflict resolution and consulting skillsStrong critical thinking and agility skillsDemonstrated attention to detailEfficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPointAbility to work as a solid contributing member of a team as well as operate independentlyKnowledge of HR systems such as PeopleSoft and SuccessFactorsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $62000 - $115000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
