You will join a great team of talented professionals who take a collaborative approach and enjoy working together.Essential Functions:Provide electrical engineering expertise for engineering studies preliminary conceptual and detailed facility design calculations troubleshooting preparation of contract documents including drawings and specifications and field inspectionsUnderstanding of engineering design concepts and engineering practices and procedures required to develop test and deploy systemsDevelop procurement packages review quotations provide technical evaluations review vendor submittals and provide resolution of technical issues during the procurement processCreating reviewing and updating formal test procedures engineering documentation and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) for completenessCoordinating and participating in all internal approvals for any Integration and Test deliverables that are required by the Statement of Work (SOW)Estimate task schedules and budgets (BOEs) for programs proposals and IR&D efforts.Collaborating and consulting with cross functional technical teams at L3Harris to include but not limited to Systems Engineering Software Engineering Quality Engineering and subject matter experts in the areas of Environmental Stress screening (ESS) and Electromagnetic interference (EMI)Ensuring the proper execution of integration and test activities in the presence of customers and L3Harris Quality Engineering representativesSupport internal peer design reviews design verification testing of engineering unit and oversightStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to promote collaboration among the program teamQualifications:Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Ability to travel 20%Preferred Additional Skills:Experience working directly with government customers on development and/or production contractsDemonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projectsExcellent organizational and record keeping skillsAbility to perform work under general supervisionExperience with RF test equipment (power meters oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers network analyzers)Experience writing BOEsPrior SATCOM experienceAbility to perform work under minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Excel Word PowerPoint and VisioPossess a valid state drivers licensePossess or have the ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higherRequired Experience:IC Key Skills APIs,Jenkins,REST,Python,SOAP,Systems Engineering,Service-Oriented Architecture,Java,XML,JSON,Scripting,Sftp Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
