Job Title: Specialist ProcurementJob Code: 30881Job Location: Tulsa OK Schedule: 9/80Job Summary: L3Harris Technologies is currently seeking a Specialist Procurement to contribute to the success and growth of our Aeromet division located in Tulsa OK. The Specialist Procurement determines approaches to objectives demonstrating a deep understanding and application of procurement principles concepts and practices in a DoD environment. This position requires a minimum of 4 years experience in defense procurement and manufacturing.Essential Functions:Procure components and subassemblies to support various programs including commodities such as electronic mechanical optical components or assemblies capital equipment and electronic/optical systems.Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and other agreements for direct and indirect procurements; Includes preparation of Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) proposal evaluation and analysis and issuance and maintenance of POs.Select and recommend suppliers negotiate pricing delivery quality terms and conditions and execute non-disclosure agreements and service agreements.Contribute to material cost reduction strategy. Create and issue various types of POs including Firm-Fixed Price and Time & Material.Lead source selection teams; conduct formal cost/price analysis to determine price fair and reasonableness. Negotiate the lowest possible total cost for the product (balance price with optimum quality and schedule needs).Identify opportunities to mitigate supply chain risk.Administer post-award of issued POsCreate purchase orders files in compliance with all command media and necessary process disciplines for auditsSupport Integrated Product Teams (IPT) through supply chain representative or as an active team memberMonitor and provide feedback to IPT on critical supplier performance to ensure timely delivery to manufacturing schedules; Inter and Intra departmental coordination is essentialActive participation in company and department initiatives such as strategic sourcing and various L3Harris improvement effortsQualifications:Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
