Your best is waiting to be discovered.Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)This is a Stanford Health Care job.A Brief OverviewExperienced level knows how to apply theory and put into practice with in depth understanding health care practices; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possess broad job knowledge;analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.LocationsStanford Health CareWhat you will doProficiency of PFC II skills PLUS Specialized tech knowledge (i.e. procedural/surgical area)OR Complex Care CoordinationPerforms 12 Lead EKGSchedules processes prepares and dispenses cardiac device (zio/holter) monitor and tracks patient remotely for resultsPerform compression stockings measurementsPrep and assist with in clinic Cardiovascular Medicine Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery proceduresMonitor and report patients lab results blood pressure logs and weight logs for cardiac medication managementSchedules peer to peer insurance authorizations for cardiovascular clinic visits and cardiac and vascular diagnostics procedures/testingCoordination of care for complex cardiac echocardiogram and vascular labscheduling/surgery schedulingAssist patient in coordination of procedure (i.e TAVR catherization interventional cardiology procedures ablations cardioversions pacemaker vascular surgery cardiothoracic surgery transplant etc.)Understands proper use and applications for the following imaging modalities: radiology (CTA/PET MRI) Echo catheterization carotidultrasound vein and arterial mappingCoordinates/triage cardiovascular hospital discharge appointments before discharge from inpatientMonitor and report patients lab results blood pressure logs and weight logs for cardiac medication managementMonitor initiate and submits electronic prior authorization for cardiac medicationsEducation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent Medical AssistantCertificate/Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training/experience Experience Qualifications At least four years of overall experience (Including external experience). Licenses and CertificationsBLS - Basic Life Support .
