Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical Network), is partnering with a highly rated rehabilitation hospital system seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support patients within an inpatient/outpatient setting near Victoria, TX.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, specialized nursing care to chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital stays.
  • Evaluates and treats patients with disorders affecting communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing.
  • Help patients regain independence after events like strokes or brain injuries by improving memory, speech articulation, and swallowing safety to prevent choking and ensure proper nutrition
  • Train families on communication cues, diet modifications, and home exercise programs.


Qualifications

  • Active SLP licensure in state of practice
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred but not required


Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation based on experience, starting at $39 per hour
