We are a group of 70+ PT/OT/and SLP colleagues working as an evidence based and collaborative team.We have experienced PT/OT and SLP teammates with 15-20 years of experience working alongside newer clinicians bringing current and novel trends and evidence based practice.Mercy General Hospital is in a unique location, at the heart of the "fabulous 40s" in East Sacramento. We function as a local community hospital, as well as a magnet for Cardiac Intervention on the west coast, and we are the home to Dignity Health's only Sacramento Area Acute Rehabilitation Unit!ResponsibilitiesAssess each patient and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and time framesPrepare and submit clinical and progress summaries based on identified and attained goalsEnsure that other treating medical professionals have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patientRequired QualificationsCA Speech Language Therapist Licensure CA (PT:CA)Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Masters Degree in Speech Therapy Previous Experience ( Acute Care preferred)
