The SLP will assess diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders helping individuals improve their speech language cognitive-communication and overall quality of life.Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech language voice fluency and swallowing disorders.Develop individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.Provide therapy sessions focusing on articulation cognitive-communication and swallowing difficulties.Educate patients families and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including occupational and physical therapists physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.Qualifications:Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri.Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred).Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy (preferred but not required).Skills: Strong communication problem-solving and patient-care skills.Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).Work Environment:Full-time or PRN (as-needed) role available.Work settings may include hospitals outpatient clinics skilled nursing facilities or home health environments.Requires adaptability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team.We are an equal opportunity employer.
