SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST OUTPATIENT Location: Corning NY Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire Compensation:annually Schedule: Day shift Relocation: Available Job Summary A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in an outpatient setting in Corning NY. This position involves providing evaluation and treatment for pediatric and adult patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. New graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders Provide speech language cognitive and swallowing therapy to pediatric and adult patients Collaborate with care teams to support continuity and quality of care Educate patients caregivers and families regarding therapy goals and techniques Complete evaluations progress notes and documentation according to policy standards Participate in department initiatives in-service trainings and continuing education Assist in the development and improvement of therapy programs and services Qualifications Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology Eligible for New York State licensure and registration Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to obtain One to two years of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire Additional Details Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Professional development and continuing education support Collaborative team-centered environment About the Area Corning is located in the Southern Finger Lakes region of New York and offers a blend of culture recreation and community life.
