Speech Language Pathologist – Pediatrics (Full-Time)
Location: Salisbury, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Variable hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: $37.87 – $58.71 per hour
Relocation: Up to $2,500 (if eligible)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders in pediatric patients. This role is responsible for assessing communication abilities using clinical observations and standardized tools, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy that supports the child’s sensory-motor, cognitive, and behavioral development. The SLP collaborates with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document patient progress toward therapy goals
- Use standardized assessments and caregiver input to guide treatment
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited university
- Current Maryland or Delaware Speech Pathologist License (based on residency)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligible
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
