If you share our passion for personalized patient care you are made for this!Our Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists enjoy some excellent benefits:$65 per hour1:1 therapist-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomesFlexible assignments autonomy and work-life balancePTO Holiday Pay Dental/Vision/401k for full time employees (32 hours per week)As a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist heres a big-picture view of what youll do:Provide home-based speech therapy to patients having communication swallowing or cognitive difficulties due to an illness or injury Work as part of a home health team which may include an RN LPN CNA HHA PT and OT focused on the patients plan of care and established goals Observe and evaluate a patients ability to communicate swallow and process information Conduct patient assessments document progress and ensure patient goals are metAssist with mouth breathing and swallowing exercises fluency articulation and readingEducate patient and family on plan of care therapy goals safety practices and self-careA few must-haves for Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists:Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active SLP license in MontanaMinimum of three 3 years of speech therapy experience ideally in home healthcareCPR certification; TB ScreenKnowledge of state and federal home health regulationsGood clinical judgement critical thinking skills strong communicator empathy and compassionWhy Work for Interim HealthCareFounded in 1966 Interim HealthCare is the nations first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).
