Eligible after 1040 hours of employment or completion of 750 visits within 12 months of hire date</span></li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Holiday and PTO pay for full time employees</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Medical and life insurance for full-time employees</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Dental, vision and supplemental insurance available for all employees.</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">One-to-one patient care that allows you to make a meaningful impact</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Supportive management team dedicated to your success</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Continuing education benefits and discounted courses through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen University</li></ul><p><strong>As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: none;"><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Provide home-based speech therapy to patients having communication, swallowing or cognitive difficulties due to an illness or injury</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Work as part of a home health team which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT and OT, focused on the patient’s plan of care and established goals </li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Observe and evaluate a patient’s ability to communicate, swallow and process information  </li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Conduct patient assessments, document progress and ensure patient goals are met</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Assist with mouth, breathing and swallowing exercises, fluency, articulation and reading</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Educate patient and family on plan of care, therapy goals, safety practices and self-care</li></ul><p><strong>A few must-haves for Home Health Speech Language Pathologists:</strong></p><ul style="list-style-type: none;"><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and active SLP license in Arizona</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Minimum of one (1) year of speech therapy experience, ideally in home healthcare</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">CPR Certification (demonstration course required)</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">No Covid Vaccination Required</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC)</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations</li><li style="list-style-type: initial;">Good clinical judgement, critical thinking skills, strong communicator, empathy and compassion</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work for Interim HealthCare?</strong></p><p>Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation’s first home care company and a leading employer of Home Health Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs).
