Role Description This is an on-site, full-time or part-time role based in San Antonio, TX for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY). The clinician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders using evidence-based practices in clinic, school, or community settings as assigned. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical records. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills and coordinated care. The clinician will also participate in team meetings, receive or provide supervision as applicable, and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications

The clinician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders using evidence-based practices in clinic, school, or community settings as assigned. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical records. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills and coordinated care. The clinician will also participate in team meetings, receive or provide supervision as applicable, and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for diverse age groups and diagnoses.
- Knowledge and experience in treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders, with the ability to design individualized, functional goals.
- Competence in assessment and management of Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and collaboration with medical teams when appropriate.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; eligibility for or current state licensure as an SLP in Texas.
- CFY candidates: eligibility to begin Clinical Fellowship and commitment to working under appropriate supervision in accordance with ASHA and state requirements.
- Strong documentation, time-management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfort working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations; bilingual skills in English/Spanish are a plus.
- Current or eligible ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for licensed SLP applicants.
