Overview1st Shift- Monday Friday flexible hours between 7:00AM-6:00PMFunction as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Perform Speech Therapy Evaluations. Establish Speech Therapy treatment plans. Treat patients in a variety of settings including: neurological or orthopedic settings. Patient populations served include pediatric adolescent adult geriatric. Provide patient/family education. Perform appropriate documentation in electronic medical record. Participate in patient care conferences/ staffing as appropriate. A variety of diagnoses and possibility of all 3 settings served include but are not limited to communicative cognitive and swallowing disordersProvide Speech Therapy interventions in accordance with established standards of care policies procedures and state/federal law. Interventions may be related to but not limited to communicative cognitive and swallowing disorders. Supervise and complete appropriate documentation for Speech Therapy students as assigned by CCCE.Schedule Speech Therapy services according to departmentComplete documentation in electronic medical record in a timely manner in accordance within department and professional expectations demonstrating the need for skilled interventions.Participate in patient care conferences/staffing as appropriate for multidisciplinary patients.QualificationsEducation:Masters degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program. Experience:2 years experience as a Speech Therapist.License(s)/Certification(s):Current IA and/or IL Speech Therapy licensure (or eligible).Current CPR certification.Certification of Clinical Competency issued by ASHA within 1 year of hire. Other:Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the knowledge of Epic.*Specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience skills internal equity and other business needs.
