Our new employees experience opportunities to learn and grow while caring for their families friends and neighbors.IMC is currently looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team on a Part-time the general supervision of the Director of Rehab Services the Speech Therapist will be responsiblefor administration management and direct application of Speech/LanguagePathology treatments and modalities asprescribed by a referring physician in the hospitals inpatient and outpatientsettings. The Speech Therapist evaluates plansdirects and treats all patients referred to speech/language Pathology. Provides treatments to restore function andprevent disability following disease or patients to obtain maximum performance and function in societywhile learning to live a routine normal life within the constraints of theirdisability.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/LICENSURE//TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:Minimum of a Masters Degree in SpeechPathology from an approved school.Current valid SLP Licensure in Louisiana or a temporary permit granted bystate board.Successful completion of long termclinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient environments from an accredited ST school or one year ofrecent experience in inpatient or outpatient practice.
