Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a new and innovative health club in need of personal trainers to assist our clients in reaching their fitness objectives. As the Spin Cycle Instructor, you will coach indoor cycling participants. The Spin Cycle Instructor will lead members, in a group environment, through pre-arranged formats of exercise designed to enhance overall fitness, strength and endurance, while ensuring that the safety of the members is not compromised. The Spinning Instructor may also serve as a resource to educate members on various aspects of fitness.ResponsibilitiesBe an entertainer and offer fun and educational cycling classes to keep members happy and motivated to achieve their personal fitness goalsMeet class attendance goals and complete administrative dutiesUse digital, current, and appropriate musicProvides great customer service by responding to members' needs and developing relationships with them through fun indoor cycling classes and engaging conversations before and after classesRequirementsMinimum of 6 months teaching experience in a spinning formatCPR and AED certified within 3 months of hireNationally recognized Indoor Cycle Instructor, Training or Coaching Certification (Schwinn Cycling or Stages, Mad Dogg Spinning, Les Mills) Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned classPositive and effective interpersonal communication skills.The ability to lift light weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning and kicking.
