The center conducts, analyzes, and disseminates qualitative and quantitative research to connect decision-makers with the objective research and guidance needed to make informed decisions about health policy and programs. The center is at work locally, nationally, and internationally with public and private partners to improve health and well-being.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe research coordinator II (RC II) is a member of multiple research projects, evaluation, technical assistance, policy development, and programmatic implementation teams, depending on scope of work. The RC II will provide administrative, research, and project support. In addition, the RC II will coordinate special projects as assigned by senior staff, support meetings, assist in the development of grants, and assist in the preparation, coordination and dissemination of various GHPC communication materials.This is an Atlanta-based in-office position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•       Coordinate day-to-day project activities across multiple programmatic, research, evaluation, training and/or technical assistance projects.•       Maintain project schedules, monitor progress against timelines, and support task tracking.•       Schedule and provide logistical support for meetings and events, including large convenings.•       Build internal and external relationships to increase support for the work, particularly among contracted partners and stakeholders. •       Collaborate with the team to inform overall strategic direction, communications, project development, and project management. •       Process invoices, track project expenses, and support budget manager as needed.•       Manage meeting and event announcements, track participation and provide meeting/event follow-up. •       Support preparation of literature reviews and landscape scans for various projects and topics.•       Support the preparation of grant applications, including gathering required information and organizing attachments.•       Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for internal and external collaborators.•       Coordinate communication with project partners, state agencies, community organizations, consultants, and funders.
