Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercialindustrialand residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel copper and CPVC) dry pre-actiondelugeand fire pumps.How you will do itFollow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals part manuals change notices and bulletins modification notices order todiagnose and repair equipment.Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programsschematicsand operational product manuals.Demonstrate a high level of customer service with strong organizational skills positive attitude and an ability to learn quickly.Must have the ability to work alone.What we look for7-10 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systemsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customerrequirementsOvernight travel may berequiredMust maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customerneedsMust adhere to implement and follow safety guidelines and procedures at alltimesPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets companyrequirementsFollow verbal and writteninstructionsCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet working within ducts crawl spaces above ceilings etc.Must be able to follow read and understand all safety requirement of the company and thecustomerPreferredNICET Level II certification is aplusBackflow certification is an asset$24 - $30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
