Job SummaryThe Supervisor Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab provides leadership and oversight for daily operations of the assigned functions. This role ensures safe efficient and high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies regulatory standards and evidence-based practice. The supervisor coordinates staffing scheduling and workflow; manages equipment and supplies; collaborates with physicians nurses and technologists to deliver optimal outcomes for diagnostic and interventional radiological cardiovascular and EP procedures.Job ResponsibilitiesHire onboard and manage the performance of assigned IR/Cath Lab staff ensuring proper training and competency.Oversees scheduling of procedures patient flow and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and throughput.Maintain compliance with state and regulatory standardsIdentify opportunities for improvement in departmental operational practices policies and procedures and take action to inform or make appropriate changes within scope of authority.Develop and manage the department schedule and on-call schedule and provide call coverage in the rotation.Manage inventory and ensure the availability of materials supplies and equipment for scheduled or add on procedures.Serve as a preceptor for new hires or transfers to the department and provide job specific training as assigned.Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse for IR EP or Cardiac Cath procedures as needed or required.Collaborate with physicians and leadership on quality improvement.Other duties as assigned.Education RequirementsMinimum: Associate of Nursing from an accredited school of NursingPreferred: Bachelors degree from an accredited school of NursingExperience RequirementsMinimum: One (1) year nursing experiencePreferred: One (1) year of cardiac cath or interventional radiology experienceLicense/Certification RequirementsRegistered Nursing license valid to practice in the state of IndianaBLS and ACLS (American Heart Association Key Skills Catering,Apache Commons,Architectural Design,Human Resources Administration,Accident Investigation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
