Job Type: RegularThe RAND Corporation seeks an Accountant to perform General Ledger accounting duties to support the financial transactions at RAND.DutiesThis role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely management of the company's cash operations. The position is responsible for processing desktop deposits and recording all financial transactions-including checks/ACH/wires/credit card payments, deposits, withdrawals, bank transfers, client payments, and other ad hoc bank transactions with careful attention to detail and accuracy. The position will also support the integrity of financial records by preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and preparing daily cash position reports.
