Sr. Accountant at Retail and Dining Positions

Paradies Lagardere is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team. The Senior Accountant will assist in all aspects of inventory IT expense support and general accounting. Primary responsibilities will include monthly journal entries and reconciliations which include reconciling and managing various accruals in SAP. The Senior Accountant Accounting should be able to work independently be deadline driven be able to work in a fast-paced environment and must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure.The Senior Accountant will be skilled in time management organization communication and the ability to execute an assignment through to completion. This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting and will also interact with upper management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal are a must.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for monthly and quarterly close journal entries including various accruals prepaids and inventoryOwn monthly account reconciliations which would include various accruals prepaids and inventory accountsWork closely with inventory accounting team to reconcile retail cost of salesAssist with platform physical inventories to ensure count files are reconciled and posted correctlyAssist with IT OPEX project capitalization and tracking for reporting to leadershipResponsible for preparation of year-end audit work papers and responses to audit inquiries regarding various accruals prepaids and inventoryAd-hoc project completion and continuous process improvement initiativesEDUCATION EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATIONS:Required: BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in AccountingRequired: 5 years of public or private accounting experienceProficiency in Excel including VLookups and SAP knowledgePOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Must have strong knowledge of SAP and all Microsoft ProductsDesire to identify and implement process improvementsMust have strong communication and organizational skillsAble to handle highly sensitive and confidential informationWork with a consistent sense of urgency and attention to detailAble to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situationsTeam player and ready to assist where neededRequired Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Internal Audit,Accounting Tally,General Ledger Accounting,External Audit,Microsoft Excel,PMP,Financial Accounting,Financial Analysis,Payroll,Financial Recouncilation,Financial statement,Accounting and Finance,ACCA,CPA,Financial Reporting Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Accounting Experience: years Vacancy: 1
