Drive Change Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive organization wide change management strategies for large-scale transformations and small-scale change initiatives. Integrate change management activities with program/project plans and governance Define and maintain change management frameworks methodologies and toolsEngage Stakeholders & Communication: Conduct change impact assessments to help understand the magnitude of change and its effects on team members and stakeholders Influence and co-develop communication plans to drive awareness and momentum Build relationships across all levels of the organization to engage diverse thinking that will drive successful changeLead & Coach: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on change best practices and strategies Provide coaching and support to project teams leaders and change agents to help them lead effectively Engage senior leadership to ensure they are sponsoring the change effectivelyExecute & Reinforce: Influence and co-design training programs to equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge Implement post-launch reinforcement strategies to monitor adoption and drive sustained success Identify barriers to change and manage resistance through applying proactive planning and strategic thinkingDrive Adoption: Develop define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adoption metrics to measure change effectiveness Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to make informed adjustments and influence leadership decisionsAll youll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training3 years of professional experience leading large scale projects in the airline industry or relevant experience3 years of airport operations leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceChange management / project management certification or designation desiredPrior experience leading organizational change managementSkills Licenses & CertificationsVision: Ability to envision a better future state and articulate how current changes lead to that vision.Leadership: Strong skills to inspire motivate and influence all levels of leadership and team members Change Management: Proficiency in established change management methodologies and frameworks (Prosci/Kotter etc.)Project Management: Ability to integrate change activities into project timelines and manage resources effectivelyCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to craft clear creative and targeted messages for diverse audienceEmotional Intelligence: Ability to understand and manage emotions in oneself and others during change processAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and data analysis capabilities to measure and track progress and make data-driven decisionsProblem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating barriers and creating momentumAdaptability: Flexibility to adjust plans as circumstances and business directions evolveResilience: Ability to bounce back from setbacks and persist towards goalsFeel free to be yourself at AmericanFrom the team members we hire to the customers we serve inclusion and diversity are the foundation of the dynamic workforce at American Airlines.
