Sr. Application Engineer, Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials, CLPFPP at BEUMER Group

The Sr. Application Engineer Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials CLP/FPP (AFR Application Engineer) is a multifaceted role requiring an in-depth understanding of BEUMER products and applications for alternative fuels and raw materials handling in the cement and other applicable industries. This position is responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing innovative solutions. The Sr. AFR Application Engineer is responsible for supporting the Sales team in developing the best technical solutions as per the customers individual requirements to successfully turn opportunities into orders. During the project execution the candidate will be responsible for the application engineering while ensuring local standards and regulations will be met. The Sr. AFR Application Engineer will serve as the regional AFR technical expert in the North American region and closely collaborate with BEUMERs technical center of competence in the Czech Republic as he will be a member of BEUMERs global technical AFR team.Key Responsibilities:Subject Matter Expertise:Serve as an expert in BEUMER products and applications for alternative fuels and raw materials handlingBe part of BEUMERs global AFR specialist teamManage the center of competence and supporting departments on the specific opportunity or project to support regional Sales and Project ManagementStay up to date on industry trends and developments and provide input to BEUMERs AFR R&D teamCollaboration:Collaborate with regional and global Sales and tendering to provide unique and highly competitive technical solutions and applications to the North American customersEnsure that local requirements / standards are being implemented in BEUMERs regional offeringServe as the primary technical point of contact for customers providing pre-sales and post-sales support throughout the sales process.Support regional project management during project execution on all relevant application engineering tasksManage external vendors / engineering companies during Sales and Tendering as well as project management phaseSupport BEUMER procurement with technical documentation / requirements for RFQs and purchase ordersManage external 3rd party engineering companies on engineering tasks as e.g. local PE stamping fire-fighting concepts etc.Produce / manage preparation of technical documents including proposals process flows user manuals and application notesWork with Sales to transition proposals to ordersAnnual compensation range: $125000.00 - $135000.00 annuallyThe posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.Qualifications : Key Requirements and Professional Attributes: Bachelors degree in Industrial Mechanical or Electrical Engineering5 - 8 years of experience in technical sales or engineeringStrong time management and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh computer literacy in MS Office SuiteProficiency in 2D and 3D modeling with preferred experience in AutoCAD and SolidEdgeStrong mathematical analytical and problem-solving skillsActive listening for customer satisfaction and technical insightPreferred experience automated systems and MS Excel/VBA programmingAbility to set and meet goals care for others and work collaboratively in a team.Ability to travel as per business needs.
