Sr. Business Analyst, Competitive Intelligence
We are excited to bring on Sr. Business Analyst to join the Retail Solutions Competitive Intelligence team in a hybrid environment. We are open to candidates in the following key city locations: Charlotte (NC), Fort Wayne (IN), Greensboro (NC), Hartford (CT), Omaha (NE), or Radnor (PA). The Sr. Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the Competitive Intelligence team's transition to a digital-first, data-driven operating model. You will partner closely with enterprise data, analytics, and visualization teams to onboard and manage CI-relevant data sources while driving the shift from static reporting to scalable, self-service insights. Leveraging strong analytical expertise and a collaborative approach, you will translate complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable intelligence that informs strategic decision-making. Proficiency in Excel automation, including VBA or similar scripting tools, is highly valued, along with strong data skills and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies. You will drive the strategy and roadmap to evolve CI's data, reporting, and analytics capabilities toward a more digital, self-service model. You will partner with internal teams and stakeholders to identify data gaps, define needs, and deliver actionable, business-focused solutions. You will lead efforts to modernize and scale reporting through automation, standardization, and improved data delivery processes. You will serve as a key liaison to data, analytics, and visualization teams to ensure tools and dashboards align with CI and business needs. You will translate complex, multi-source data into clear insights, trends, and executive-ready storytelling. You will monitor tool usage, data quality, and performancecontinuously improving outputs, driving adoption, and addressing gaps or issues. You will drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall outcomes.
Must-have experience (required): 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's). 5 - 7+ Years of experience in business analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate trends, and drive sound decisions. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong relationship management skills with a collaborative, partnership-oriented approach. Ability to think critically, translate complex information into actionable insights, and recommend process improvements. Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency, and overall outcomes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills, and comfort working with data and reporting tools.

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
