As a Process Specialist within the Starlink program your role would identify opportunities for improvement work closely with the related cross-functional and operational groups and assist with bringing the resulting projects to completion. Ideal team members are highly autonomous individuals that excel in flexible environments; are steadfast in their efforts to sustain change; and bring clarity and smart decision-making to our leadership teams that drive the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:Applies the Algorithm to streamline process workflows by challenging requirements deleting unnecessary steps and simplifying procedures; improves cross-team and customer-facing workflowsStreamlines operational standards using process improvement techniquesCreates revises and maintains documentation to implement organizational process improvementsImplements data management workflows and enhancements to reduce administrative overhead for managing the expanding consumer baseDevelops strategies and solutions for internal customers ensuring effective communication with all involved partiesCollaborates with software development sales finance fulfillment and enterprise account management to define and simplify cross-team handoffsBuilds and manages tools to communicate schedules identify critical paths/dependencies and track progress toward customer operation goalsIdentifies system gaps and leads implementation of enhancements automations and simple effective fixes to improve internal interfacesRoutinely communicates project status milestones and roadmaps to stakeholdersLeads multiple concurrent projects reporting status and risks to senior leadershiBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or 4 years of experience in customer operations supply chain production technology consulting or manufacturing experience2 years of process improvement experience within a supply chain production customer operations technology consulting or manufacturing environmentData analysis skills in Excel SQL and/or Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau PowerBI etc.)PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Significant experience with tools and systems used to manage Starlink consumer customersSignificant technical knowledge of Starlink in at least one key area (examples: satellites ground network business operations user terminals etc.)Ability to synthesize multiple unique requirements and suggest smart solutions products or featuresExcellent written and verbal communication skills including experience communicating with external and internal stakeholdersExperience with a high-volume consumer productUnderstanding of root cause analysisExperience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word)Experience using Six Sigma or other lean manufacturing conceptsExperience managing complex projects and assessing schedule dependencies risks and conflictsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shiftsSome travel to SpaceX sites may be requiredMust be able to work out of the following SpaceX offices: Hawthorne Redmond or BastropCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay range:Level I: $75000.00 - $95000.00/per year Level II: $90000.00 - $115000.00/per yearYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills education and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
