Construction Sr. Client Advisor

Marsh is seeking a talented Construction Sr. Client Advisor to join their team. This role is based in one of our Texas offices and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Independently oversee and manage large or complex accounts and bring the entire team together to formulate the procedure and go to market strategy.
  • Work to maintain a near complete understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients.
  • Utilize expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance marketplace to review clients' exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients' needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions.
  • Develop, present, and oversee the execution of renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives across all zones where product, industry or account criteria dictate.
  • Present to prospective clients, identify the need for new products, develop/suggest innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, and ensure that their complex risk management needs are appropriately met.
  • Oversee the production of client deliverables and delivering the final placement to the client to ensure the quality of materials delivered to clients.
  • Engage in independent senior-level client interaction and demonstrate expertise in problem solving, areas of coverage and client relationships.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the Company and maintain an in depth knowledge of changing risk and insurance market conditions.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 10 years' of construction in a risk management or brokerage capacity required.
  • Working knowledge of insurance coverages is required.
  • P&C license needed, or ability to obtain.
