Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSr. CMM Programmer - QA Inspector / Metrology (3-6 mo. Contract)Shift - 2nd Shift (4pm start); choice of 5 days/wk 8 hrs/day or 4 days/wk 10 hrs/dayLocation: Duluth, MN; 100% onsitePay: $55-$85/hr. (includes $15/hr. per diem)Duties and Responsibilities:Must be proficient programming CMMs (e.g., PolyWorks, PC-DMIS)Perform QA Metrology tasks including interpreting drawings, procedures, and specifications.Measure tooling, parts, and assemblies using CMM equipment or other methods.Maintain inspection records, report non-conformances, and collaborate with management and engineering teams.Operate and program CMMs, vision systems, and inspection software (e.g., PolyWorks, PC-DMIS).Mentor other inspectors and assist with programming and operating metrology equipment.Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.Analyze finished components to determine acceptance based on specifications.Report defects and collaborate on corrective actions.Perform receiving inspection as needed and other duties assigned.Qualifications:GED/HS Diploma required; A&P License or AAS in Quality Assurance preferred.ASNT, ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), or similar certifications a plus.5+ years’ experience in aerospace quality assurance or metrology preferredFamiliarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP, FAA).Skilled in reading engineering drawings and using metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs).Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and inspection software.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD (Creo preferred), and ERP/MES systems.Powered by JazzHREsuS8csGr3
