Job Description
The Sr. Director Global Learning will utilize extensive knowledge and experience to create and lead the KION enterprise learning strategy and foster a culture of learning across KION. This influential role will be responsible for establishing relationships with key business stakeholders and partners in order to establish a creative and innovative portfolio of skills and capability development solutions which closely align to business needs and priorities. We are seeking a dynamic results driven individual who can deeply understand our business talent strategy and workforce needs in order translate them into meaningful and sustainable learning solutions. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skillsTasks and Qualifications:Accountabilities:Define global learning needs by aligning KION business strategy to the overall talent agendaand design the global learning portfolio to scale accordinglyLead and develop a team of learning partners located across the KION global footprint to deliver innovative learning solutions that will advance the skills and expertise of the KION Group Closely monitor global learning solutions effectiveness by creating monitoring tracking and reporting on critical KPIsBuild strong relationships and consult with business leaders HR partners and People Development to build best learning strategies and experiences that meet people where they are and bring them forward on their journeyDevelop and deploy a learning governance model and community to drive alignment in strategy and executionThrough a deep understanding of learning and development processes drive optimization and continuous improvement in order to fuel a culture of learning including the use of technology and on-demand learning solutions available to all employees Leverage class-leading vendors to introduce new tools and methods for blended learning and performance support. Drive a progressive learning strategy built on technology and automationUtilize Workday Learning to drive further integration of intentional development strategies together with learning solutionsDeep understanding of financial and cost modeling and management across a matrix organization and across operating unitsExperience building and managing fit-for-purpose learning solutions for various operating units and matricesUnderstanding of functional technical and leadership development portfoliosQualifications:Bachelors in HR Organizational Psychology Organizational Development or related field and 15 years of experience in operationalizing learning strategies across a global business enterpriseProven experience developing and executing complex learning strategies across a global organization that build lasting capabilitiesDemonstrated experience in leveraging technology to promote a learning culture through the enterprisePossesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills.
