DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned professional Senior Director to lead our UL Global Fire Detection this Offering Management role you will be responsible for leading strategy and business development product management innovation and ideation. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in product / portfolio management international marketing NPFA/UL regulatory standards margins & competitive analysis pricing dynamics multi-brand / multi-channel strategy managing OEM relationships developing / implementing business strategy and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional resultsLocation(s): Atlanta GeorgiaTravel: 30-40%Ideal Candidate Experience 10 years of experience in product management with a focus on portfolio management or leadership roles. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving innovation and growth through portfolio initiatives. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Own the portfolio lifecycle aspects: Phase-in Phase-out EOL Co-own Fire revenue and margin goals for UL portfolio as part of the Fire Leadership Team. Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across different regions and cultures. Define and prioritize market opportunities and customer needs Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities Channel managementResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesNPI and NPD Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for NPI and NPD initiatives aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision goals and priorities for NPI and NPD and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our offering portfolio aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision goals and priorities for the portfolio and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement for all offerings in the portfolio. Drive innovation and creativity in product development ensuring that our offerings meet the evolving needs of our customers and remain competitive in the market.Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends customer needs and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for portfolio expansion or optimization to drive revenue growth and market share.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development engineering marketing sales and finance to drive portfolio initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing management.Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new offerings and feature enhancements. Collaborate with marketing sales and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization including executives customers partners and industry influencers. Provide regular updates on portfolio performance and address any issues or challenges as they arise.Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for the portfolio including revenue market share and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that all offerings in the portfolio comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio to protect the companys reputation and financial performance.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEProven experience (typically 10 years) in product management and portfolio management roles with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills with a track record of developing and executing successful portfolio strategies.Deep understanding of market dynamics competitive landscapes and customer insights.Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.Understanding of fire industry and building regulations AOP achievement experienceWE VALUEBachelors degree in Business Engineering or related fieldRelevant domain experience in Honeywells Fire markets (Buildings Healthcare Datacenters Critical Environment and Hospitality) a plus.Experience in a global organizationExperience in market research and analysisProven expertise in managing and leading offering management teams.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environmentIn addition to a competitive salary leading-edge work and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
