This is your chance to contribute to cutting-edge projects and drive continuous improvement in design tools and methodologies.How You'll Make an ImpactCreate customized designs with a focus on safety and hazard control.Contribute to design reviews and verification processes, providing feedback and making necessary modifications.Optimize designs to meet updated standards and incorporate new products and functionalities.Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and plans required by manufacturing.Design, analyze, and evaluate systems, products, or components with a high degree of technical expertise.Conduct economic studies and prepare specifications, proposals for contracts, licensing, and safety documents.Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to shape and deliver design solutions.Support technology implementation with in-depth testing and analysis of design tool outputs.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Your BackgroundMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in product/system development or transformer design; or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience.Experience in electrical design and proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks/3D CDS systems.Preferred experience in transformer design and large distribution transformers.Authorization to work in the US.More About UsAt Hitachi Energy, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
