Specifically this role will function as the senior engineer to support the current 53 NAPA DCs. Working with a highly talented team youll play a key role to build and run one of the worlds largest automotive and industrial replacement parts operationsThis Sr Engineer Package Software position will be Distribution Center (internal customer) focused to better outline the design and coding of application functionality to outline and meet DC (Internal customer) this role you will be part of the team accountable for delivering a multi-year transformation initiative. You will be responsible for design Develop Testing implementing and optimizing warehouse management solutions using Manhattans Active WMS.Responsibilities:Serves as a subject matter expert within the Manhattan Associates suite of applications MA Active WM PlatformServes as a subject matter expert for all DC Automation systems (WES MHE) integrating with MA Active WMCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize warehouse operations by developing and implementing best practices and process improvements.Provide technical guidance and support to the implementation team.Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve productivity.Conduct workshops sessions to ensure effective use of the system.Stay updated with Manhattan Active new product release (innovations) in warehouse management.Self-sufficient - completes tasks competently effectively and efficiently based on level of priorityProvide guidance for automation testing and Performance testing for MA Active WM applicationDevelop test plans for both unit and systems testingVerify the finalization of the stability of Code deliverables (SDN & Config) from Manhattan as well as the impact of the production system.Must completely document all modifications and be able to maintain systems level documentation.Assist in developing and maintaining departmental systems standardsSupport and troubleshoot issues with the assistance of the functional analysts.Minimum travel requirement of 30-40% as part of each DC implementation.Other duties as assigned.Location:GPC has two work locations to choose from Duluth or Atlanta office.We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work a hybrid remote schedule.Desired Qualifications & Experiences:Bachelors degree in Engineering related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years of experience developing workflows within Manhattan WMS (WMOS MAWM) Applications working with WES and MHE Implementations5-7 years of experience preferredExperience with Host (ERP) - WMS Integrations using Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF)Knowledge of integrating warehouse management system with other equipment and systems such as Warehouse control systems (WCS) TMS ShipExec is desirable.Creative & Critical Thinking and Driving Results which are required in resolving complex projects or tasksFull understanding of the Technical Skills needed regarding SQL Google Cloud platformExcellent internal and external customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectivelyProject management analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure independently or within a teamExceptional follow up and attention to detailNot the right fit Let us know youre interested in a future opportunity by joining our Talent Community on or create an account to set up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!GPC conducts its business without regard to sex race creed color religion marital status national origin citizenship status age pregnancy sexual orientation gender identity or expression genetic information disability military status status as a veteran or any other protected characteristic.
