Sr. Full Stack Java Developer (AWSKafka Focus) at DRC Systems

NO C2C Title: Sr. Full Stack Java Developer (AWS/Kafka Focus) Location: Plano TX Role Overview: We are seeking a high-level Java Engineer to join a critical financial services initiative in Plano TX. This is a high-velocity environment where you will be building scalable microservices for payment processing. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running immediately without needing significant ramp-up time. Mandatory Technical Skills: Core Development: 5-10 years of strong hands-on experience in Java (J2EE) and Spring Boot. Architecture: Deep experience designing and deploying Microservices from scratch. Event Streaming: Must have practical experience with Kafka for real-time data processing. Cloud & DevOps: Strong proficiency in AWS services. Deployment experience using ECS (Elastic Container Service) or EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) is required. APIs: Expert-level understanding of RESTful API design consumption and security. Nice to Have (The Deal Closers): Domain: Previous experience in Banking Financial Services or Payments (High Priority). Containerization: Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration. Frontend experience (React/Angular) is a plus but Backend strength is the priority. Soft Skills & Expectations: Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment with 2-week sprints. Must be articulate and capable of communicating technical concepts to stakeholders. Self-sufficient: Must be able to look at the code understand the logic and start contributing immediately.
