Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Sr. Procurement Consultant to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead procurement strategies and contract execution for critical categories supporting data center solutions. The role requires onsite presence four days per week and one remote day, allowing you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and solution delivery needs.• Conduct detailed market and pricing analyses to support informed sourcing decisions.• Lead competitive bidding processes for diverse categories, including construction, technology, and services.• Draft comprehensive scopes of work that address technical, operational, and compliance requirements.• Negotiate contracts to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and speed-to-market.• Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and operations teams to optimize procurement outcomes.• Provide strategic insights to enhance procurement processes and support organizational growth.• Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.• Extensive experience in government, corporate, or indirect procurement.• Proven expertise in contract negotiations and competitive bidding.• Strong analytical skills for conducting market and pricing analysis.• Ability to draft and manage scopes of work for complex categories.• Familiarity with purchasing processes and procurement systems.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.• Willingness to work onsite four days per week, with one remote day.
