JOB TITLE – Sr. Lead java developer/ArchitectReports to:  Program ManagerLocation:  Arlington, VA; Bethesda, MDTravel: < 5%Start Date: ImmediatelyClearance Requirement: Public TrustTAX TERM:- C2C, W2Project Duration:-1 Year+Hourly Rate-90$ Negotiable Work Visa Status:- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident(GC) Job Summary:  The Senior Associate, Technology is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for implementing parts of the system architecture using best practices.  This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.  The candidate will also be expected to provide technical leadership, architectural support, and advice with system security. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills. Responsibilities: Ability to lead a small team of 4-6 individuals.Demonstrates ability to work with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system.Meet with business and system owners to understand and document desired system requirements.Work with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specificationsWork with business users and analysts to define use casesDesign and develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code.Develop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniques.Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance.Effectively model organization business processes and integrate them with existing Enterprise systems and capabilities.Estimate and plan iterative / agile releasesMentor junior team membersWork closely with technical project leadership and client to plan, develop, and deliver system modernization, enhancement, and operations and maintenance capabilities.Experience Guidelines:At least 10+ years of relevant work experience.Strong problem identification and analytical skillsAbility to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goalsMust be detail-oriented and proactive about communicating status and progress.Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create and deliverclear reports and documentation.Experience working in small to medium-sized teamsExperience developing software in Java (including JSP and servlets) and JavaScript.Experience working in a Unix or Linux environment.Experience developing software involving database queries, e.g. SQL.Desired but not required experience includes proficiency with Python, Perl, shell scripting (e.g. Bash),distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop), and information retrieval, text mining, or other analytical Required Skills:Java, J2EE, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, Shell Scripting, POM files, and eclipse with various plug-in requiredProficient in Spring MVC, Spring Core, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, JQuery, Java ScriptExperience with Amazon Web Services(AWS)Implementing Database Change processeLinux, Jboss, Tomcat, Mark Logic, OracleEducation:  Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University  About Our Client:- Our client is a leading provider of consult¬ing, technology, and marketing services to a wide array of U.S. governmental agencies.
