*Job Overview*We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of bankruptcy law. This role involves providing expert legal counsel, legal drafting of petitions, and representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional legal solutions to clients facing financial distress.*Duties** Represent clients in bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, and 13 filings, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations* Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies and legal arguments* Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and pleadings with precision and clarity* Maintain detailed case files and documentation in the law office management system* Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive client service and effective case management* Participate in client consultations, court proceedings, and hearings as required*Experience** Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with active bar membership in good standing* Proven experience practicing bankruptcy law with a strong understanding of federal bankruptcy code* Familiarity with a broad range of legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, litigation, patent law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, and securities law is highly desirable* Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw* Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and administrative documentation* Prior experience working in a law office environment with familiarity in legal research and case management systemsThis role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
