The Sales Strategy Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Swisher’s commercial strategies for key clients and various customer segments. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Strategy & Execution, this role translates customer and brand insights into integrated sales strategies that drive profitable growth. Acting as a strategic liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Brand teams, the Sales Strategy Manager ensures alignment across functions and leads initiatives that enhance customer engagement, optimize sales programs, and strengthen Swisher’s market position. Key Responsibilities Strategic Integration & Alignment Integrate customer strategy into sales and brand strategies to deliver cohesive market execution and channel alignment Serve as the key liaison between Sales and Brand teams to ensure commercial strategies reflect customer priorities and brand goals Partner with Marketing and Category Management to translate brand activations into customer-facing programs and field execution Customer & Program Leadership Lead the development of tailored customer strategies and activation plans that drive sales growth across priority accounts Prepare and deliver customer-facing materials, including presentation decks, sell sheets, and strategic business reviews Support Sales leadership in customer engagement initiatives, including Top-to-Top meetings and Joint Business Planning sessions with key clients Operational & Sales Enablement Serve as the Sales lead for S&OP, ensuring alignment between demand planning, production, and customer needs Collaborate with the Sales Planning team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, forecasts, and trade execution calendars Identify performance opportunities across key customers and provide data-driven insights to guide investment decisions and program design Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Revenue Growth Management, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure pricing, promotions, and trade spend align with profitability targets Collaborate with Sales Operations to enhance tools, reporting, and enablement platforms that support executional excellence Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline required 7+ years of progressive experience in Sales Strategy, Commercial Planning, or Account Management within consumer goods or a related industry Proven success developing and executing strategic customer plans across multiple channels Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated experience preparing and delivering executive-level materials Proficiency in sales forecasting, S&OP, and data-driven decision-making Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership Travel: Up to 20% Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree in Business, Strategy, or Organizational Leadership Experience leading customer strategy for key national accounts or major distributors Familiarity with trade investment management, joint business planning, and brand integration Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with CRM or BI platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI) Strong understanding of consumer insights, trade marketing, and retail activation best practices What We Offer Base salary and bonus program Medical, dental, vision, life insurance effective on date of hire Generous 401(k) Plan Defined Contribution Plan Paid vacation and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Official Contact Information Email: All official emails will come from an @Swisher.com address Website: Verify job listings and contact details on https://careers.swisher.com Important: We will never contact you via Teams, Zoom, or Google Meets.
