Senior Manager, Finance Global Customer Services (GCS)

The Senior Manager, Finance Global Customer Services (GCS) serves as a strategic finance business partner to senior leaders across Service Marketing and Service Engineering. Reporting into GCS Finance leadership, this role supports financial strategy, planning, and execution across the service lifecycle and plays a critical role in driving profitable growth, margin expansion, and analytical rigor.

This position provides financial leadership by partnering with business leaders to translate strategy into financial outcomes, deliver accurate forecasts, and generate actionable insights that improve performance across commercial, engineering, and service delivery organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary finance business partner to Service Marketing and Service Engineering supporting strategy development and execution.
  • Translate service and portfolio strategies into financial implications, scenarios, and trade-offs to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Support prioritization of investments aligned with growth, margin, productivity, and customer experience objectives.
  • Partner on pricing strategy, pricing governance, and deal economics across contracts, time & materials, per diem services, and new service offerings.
  • Develop financial models for service portfolio changes, digital services, and bundled offerings, including lifecycle profitability and ROI analysis.
  • Support sales enablement and deal escalation processes through scenario modeling, risk assessment, and post-deal performance tracking.
  • Develop and publish reporting to track commercial KPIs including revenue, gross margin, pricing realization, and attach rates.
  • Partner with Service Engineering to embed financial rigor into serviceability, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization decisions.
  • Develop cost and total-cost-of-ownership models to inform diagnosability, repairability, updateability, and field replaceable unit strategies.
  • Provide financial support for new product development (NPD) business cases, service readiness, and lifecycle updates to ensure margin and installed-base objectives are met.
  • Track and validate benefits from engineering-driven productivity, quality, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Support development of the annual operating plan, forecasts, and long-range plans across supported GCS functions.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and insight-driven financial reporting highlighting risks, opportunities, and countermeasures.
  • Drive transparency, consistency, and accountability in financial and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure adherence to BD financial policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Support governance and financial review processes for investments, pricing decisions, and major initiatives.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools to support scalability and decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 710 years of progressive finance experience, ideally supporting service, commercial, or operations organizations in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Experience in services-intensive businesses.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in business partnering, financial planning, and performance management.
  • Strong systems and application skills (e.g., SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, financial planning tools).
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience translating complex financial data into clear business insights.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial governance principles.

Preferred Experience:

  • MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced qualification
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices

Salary Range Information $147,500.00 - $235,900.00 USD Annual
