You will manage an expert team of over twenty Formal Verification Engineers and help us grow and expand our capabilities and scope.THE PERSON: The ideal candidate has extensive experience with FPV and believes the industry should use more of it.  You also have experience leading and managing engineers. You have excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a high-performance Formal Verification team and nurture talentLead and improve best-in-class methodology for full Formal SignoffPlan, execute, and meet verification commitments on critical IPs that are used in every AMD productCollaborate with leaders of other teams to drive AMD's success  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A strong leader with experience:Managing high performance engineering teamsMentoring and coaching engineers with a wide seniority rangeImproving team efficiency with automationPlanning projects and meeting commitmentsHands-on technical experience:Strong past in Formal VerificationPrior experience with other verification methodsOther chip development experience is beneficialStrong communications skills for all audiencesStrong analytic and problem-solving skillsMust be a self-starter and self-motivated ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelors or greater degree in computer or electrical engineering#LI-MO2#LI-HybridBenefits offered are described:  AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
