At Collins Aerospace were modernizing the Nuclear Command Control and Communications (NC3) capabilities to our customers most crucial platforms.As our next Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager and as a member of the Integrated Platforms Hardware department you will lead a team of 15 Mechanical Engineers whose charter is to design develop test and deploy mission critical weapon systems for the United States Navy and Air Force. This position is for Richardson TX.This position reports to the Integrated Platforms Hardware department manager and will be working closely with program management business development program chiefs (project engineering) and operations. This team develops designs for both electro-mechanical assemblies as well as the development of system-level modifications on airborne platforms. Our teams are responsible for mechanical design solutions for multiple interconnected equipment which are critical components for the survivable endurable reliable airborne command control and communications platforms required by our customers. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
