Reach your highest potential at our stable inclusive company with diverse opportunities in a growing industry supported by people who care.Messer stands apart because we put what matters first and you matter.Principal Responsibilities:Leads the National Reliability and Maintenance team byestablishinga culture of safety in working and in the execution of all aspects of the teams role requirements.Supports theArea Production Directors and Sr. Maintenance & Reliability Managersin achieving key outcomes in safety reliability efficiency costand customer service.Leads ateam ofmulti-disciplineengineers that providedetailedengineering& designtechnical troubleshootingand maintenance supportforall machinerymechanical equipmentelectrical controlsand instrumentationwithinall ASU CO2H2 He and on-siteplantsand facilitiesacrossNorth America.Demonstrates HPO continuous improvement by sharing best practices employed or developed in Messer Americas and adopt best practicesidentifiedby global peersSupports the effort for continuous improvement through EMBRACE and Six Sigma programsSupportthe troubleshooting and repairprocessofanycritical failed equipment including MOC guidance plant/equipment outage decision making repair plan and root cause analysis.Support the Lessons Learned and RCFA processes across thenationalleading the investigation efforts oncritical events and providing guidance and recommendations across the nationto prevent futurereoccurrence.Championingnew maintenanceworkprocessesand collaboratively drive continuousimprovementin their effectivenessand efficiencythrougha comprehensive setof performance KPIsManageand ownthe Preventative Maintenance (PM)program andstandardsfor the nationensuringproperreview effectivenessupkeepcomplianceand executionacross all business unitsManage and own the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program and standards for the nationproviding proper reviews effectiveness necessary program changesoptimizationandimplementationacross all facilities.Develop optimize andmaintainall KPIs and reporting fornationalreliability and maintenance functionsOverseethe plant equipment assessment process and annual reviews for all sitesacross the nation.Providerecommendations and guidancein regard totheTurnaroundManagementProcess(TAR) as well asownandmaintainthe TARManagement standards for the nation.Manage and oversee themechanical integrityprogramensuring compliance with standardsand supporting execution ofthe program.Manage and oversee the pipelinemaintenance andintegrityprogramsensuring compliance with standards and supporting the execution of the program.Provide annualcriticalsparepartsreviewsforallsitesacross the nation risk rank criticalityacross the fleetandprovide cost estimations and recommendationsto the business.Representingthenationalreliability interestswiththe Messer Projects Execution Teamin the proposal and project commercialization process includingPID reviews HAZOP participationdetailedengineering supportspares inputnew plantacceptanceand commissioning.Workingwith theRemote Operations Center (ROC)to executeprojects and initiativesidentifiedto drive performance and close performance gapsRequired Skills:Strong technicalskills and ability to troubleshootindustrial equipmentProven experience in Root Cause Analysis Cause and Effect or FMEA methodologiesProven experience and knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies and technologiesProven understanding of regulatory and industry standards and codesAir Separation experience and knowledge preferredExperience with CMMS systemsrequired SAP PM preferredSix Sigma qualification a plusBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline Mechanical or Electrical preferredMinimum 15 years of experience in operational and engineering environmentAbout Messer: Messers safety culture commitment to providing dependable supply and innovative gas technology solutions help customers unlock opportunities to be safer more sustainable more productive and more efficient so their business thrives.
