Sr. Marketplace Ops Assistant, Shopbop Marketing & Content at Bop LLC
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key job responsibilities
Manage end-to-end catalog operations for Shopbop's FBA business on Amazon, including ASIN creation, product listing optimization, and catalog maintenance
Own data entry, classification, and quality control processes to ensure FTC-compliant and customer-impacting product information
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot listing issues and implement process improvements
Develop and maintain documentation for catalog workflows and standard operating procedures
Analyze catalog performance metrics and identify opportunities for automation and scalability
Ensure compliance with Amazon's catalog policies and marketplace requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance catalog quality and operational efficiency
A day in the life
As a Catalog Specialist II, you'll start your day reviewing catalog health metrics and prioritizing issues that impact customer experience. You'll work through ASIN creation requests, resolve listing errors, and collaborate with brand partners to ensure accurate product information. Throughout the day, you'll analyze data to identify trends, implement process improvements, and support your team's operational goals. You'll balance tactical execution with strategic thinking, always looking for ways to scale and automate workflows while maintaining the highest quality standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in catalog management, e-commerce operations, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Knowledge of product launch processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) operations and marketplace management
- Prior experience working with Amazon systems (Catalog, Fulfillment, Seller/Vendor Central)
- Knowledge of product classification systems and catalog taxonomy
- Familiarity with GTIN (UPC/EAN) management and product identification standards
- Experience with AI/ML automation tooling
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous tasks
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
