Discovery and identification of new business partners will be directed via close partnership with Target Merchants and Target Plus Category Managers to unlock new complementary products and merchandising strategies intended to enahnce the shopping experience. To effectively secure the most meaningful productive partnerships you will need to leverage strong strategic analytic and communication skills to build long-term internal and external relationships. An understanding of the marketplace landscape and technical requirements through a customer-centric perspective will be critical to succeeding in this role. This is an ideal role for a sales-oriented self-starter who is looking to take ownership in rapidly scaling an emerging business.Required Qualifications: 4 years of experience in digital marketplaces strongly preferred4 years of experience in sales and/or business development roles preferredExtremely strong external communication skills including sales negotiations and relationship buildingExpertise in negotiations theory including facilitating legal financial and operational contract discussionsExtremely strong communication skills across strategic leadership and cross functional levelsStrong strategic development skills and the ability to create implementation plansUnderstanding of digital businesses including knowledge of digital traffic and conversionStrong project management skills preferredFour-year degree or equivalent experience recommendedThis position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as Flex for Your Day) work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member worksfull-time from home oran alternatelocation thats not a Target location does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
