Responsibilities Location: Dallas, TX (on-site) Key Accountabilities:Demonstrated ability to run a multi-million MRO structures & composite operation in a FAA Part 145 repair stationManages schedule of aircraft component repairs and overhauls in relation to the availability of personnel, skills, tools, equipment, parts, materials, and required work areas consistent with the customer contracted delivery schedule and cost forecasts.Oversee maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft service activities to ensure airworthiness and compliance with Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and regulationsPlans, recommends, and coordinates the sequencing and allocation of workload for efficient use of staff, skills, and spaceSupervises non-routine work into scheduled workload; assigns jobs according to the skills, experience, and training of mechanics; develops requirement forecasts; investigates the recoverability of parts and components and determines appropriate repair or overhaul processesManage and train new employees in proper procedures, methods, and practicesMaintains all shop equipment and tools and supervises the maintenance, safety, and the organization of the repair station facilitiesResponsibility for development and presentation of production and business metrics, to include Units in process, inventory, component repairs and overhaul status/history, and current and projected workloads, progress to planResponsibility for personnel performance and workforce managementEnsure technicians have the appropriate technical data available during the performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration activitiesPerform surveillance of certificated and non-certificated employees performing maintenance, preventative maintenance and alterationsInitiate requisitions for stock as required for the work being performedOther duties and responsibilities as called out in company policies, procedures, repair station/quality control manual, SOP's, and as directed. Qualifications QualificationsRequired:Must have 5-10 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory role in operations managementMust have experience in both metal structure and composite repairMust have demonstrated understanding of applying Lean toolsMust have experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust have good written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, or related fieldFAA Airframe certificate or be eligible to receive a FAA Repairman Certificate for Structures & CompositesWorking knowledge of SAP This is a DOT safety sensitive position and requires participation in a DOT drug screen and random screenings.
