Performs other duties as assigned.Key AccountabilitiesManage the day-to-day administration of BI platforms, with a focus on Power BI on Microsoft Fabric and Qlik SenseOversee user access, upgrades, patching, manage access, security roles, workspace management, and platform performance monitoringAdminister and support legacy BI tools including Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), SAS, and SAP Business Objects/Webi/Crystal Reports, ensuring continuity during the transition phaseCollaborate with IT, data engineering, and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration and platform stabilityImplement and maintain BI governance policies, including metadata management, version control, and audit loggingCoordinate software upgrades, patching, and vendor support for BI toolsDevelop and maintain documentation for BI architecture, processes, and administrative proceduresSupport capacity planning, license management, and cost optimization for BI toolsFacilitate onboarding and training for BI users, ensuring adherence to best practices and standardsMonitor system usage and adoption metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and user enablementWhy Join Us?Ensure the stability and scalability of mission-critical BI platformsCollaborate with a dedicated team of data professionals in a purpose-driven organizationCompetitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional developmentRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field3+ years of experience in BI platform administration or technical BI operations, preferably in a healthcare payer environmentSkills and AbilitiesExperience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Qlik Sense administrationHands-on experience with OAS, SAS, and SAP Business Objects/Webi/Crystal Reports Familiarity with healthcare data types (e.g., claims, eligibility, quality metrics) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS)Experience with server administration of both Windows and Linux environments to support data operations, reporting systems, and analytics toolsExperience with Active Directory, role-based access control, and enterprise security modelsProficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for administrative tasksExcellent organizational and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based BI environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworksFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for BI deploymentsCertification in Power BI AdministrationThis position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite, on average, 3 days per week. We are open to candidates located near one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI.The full salary grade for this position is $87,100 - $149,300. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $87,100 - $130,620.
