Our team solves tough meaningful problems that create a safer more secure world.Raytheon Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department is looking for a Sr. Principal Embedded Security Software Engineer in Tucson AZ.Our mission is to provide world class Security Software to be used in deployed missile systems.What You Will Do:This position requires understanding of real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.The candidate will require the ability to understand how their efforts affect the big picture of the missile system and be able to develop or review detail solutions at the source code level.This position is a fulltime onsite role in Tucson AZ.As a Sr. Principal System Security software engineer you will be involved with software and firmware design; and development integration and testing of real-time missile software.Apply System Security principles to the design and implementation of hardened Radar software applications.Develop software applications using C and C languages on a variety of computing platformsUnderstand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.Work closely with the Systems Security Engineering team to define and implement requirements.Work in a common development environment to support and facilitate program ability to leverage specific capabilities.Interface with customer community to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience.Experience with C / C.Experience with Xilinx Zynq UltaScale MPSoC.VxWorks OS experience.Embedded Software Security experience.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
