Senior Project Manager

As a global leader of Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) services with projects ranging from $1 million to programs of up to $10 billion, Jacobs delivers award-winning Design and/or Construction Management projects for public and private sector clients. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the long-term capital improvement program for a major healthcare system in San Diego. Your work will span both routine capital projectssuch as medical and imaging equipment upgradesand larger, complex initiatives including the design and construction of a new hospital.
You will lead multiple small to mid-scale healthcare projects from initiation through closeout. Responsibilities include:
- Developing RFPs, evaluating proposals, and recommending award
- Leading contract negotiations and managing design and construction teams
- Coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Overseeing stakeholder engagement, schedule and cost management, and reporting
- Providing executive-level updates and ensuring successful project delivery
- Serving as an on-site representative, collaborating directly with healthcare system leadership
For larger master-plan effortssuch as new hospital or medical office building constructionyou will support the broader delivery team and take ownership of specific project components. You may:
- Represent the Owner in design cluster groups
- Lead the management of a department, floor, or defined project zone
- Support financial and administrative functions, including change order review/negotiation, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and executive presentations

Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent combination of healthcare and significant related experience
- 12+ years of related healthcare design and construction project management experience
- Strong working knowledge of design, pre-construction, building systems components and technology, contract management (GMP/ lump sum), team building and client relationship building
- Experience delivering OSHPD 1 Projects
- Experience delivering new construction projects
Ideally, you will have:
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification
Posted Salary Range: Minimum 154,700.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 212,700.00

The base salary range for this position is $154,700.00 to $212,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
